What we collect
Your name, email address, mobile number and postcode; details about your vehicle including its registration, mileage, condition and any photographs you send us. We use your mobile number only to contact you about the car you asked us to value.
Why we use it
To value your vehicle, to contact you with a quote and to arrange collection and payment if you accept. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Where you have opted in, we may also send you occasional marketing — you can withdraw that consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are deleted after 12 months. Where we buy your vehicle we keep transaction records for six years to meet our legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@carcashoffer.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
